Take the mystery out of marine weather forecasts by learning the basic principles of marine weather and the range of available resources. Observe weather and sea state conditions\, interpret traditional weather and ocean charts\, and use the latest technological tools and apps. Learn to apply the information for local\, coastal and offshore voyages\, making your time on the water as safe and efficient as possible. \nThis 4-day course (Jan 9/10 and 16/17\, 2021) is conducted via live webinar\, so you can learn and interact from the comfort of your own home. Limited to 20 students to maximize active participation. \nThe course combines lecture\, video\, hands-on exercises and an offshore voyage weather planning practical.
