Weather.... the single biggest factor affecting ALL boaters, whether sail or power. Take the mystery out of marine weather forecasts; understand the principles, learn how to apply the information for local trips, coastal cruising and ocean voyages. From traditional maritime forecasting skills to the latest technological tools, this 4-day course will help make your time on the water as safe and efficient as possible. Taught by Capt Lisa Batchelor Frailey, a marine meteorologist and ocean passagemaker.

ASA Instructor Qualification Clinics: April/May 2016
Ready for a new career as a sailing instructor? Sail Solomons is conducting a clinic for prospective ASA Sailing Instructors. If you have good sailing skills and the patience and desire to teach, these clinics could be for you. Or, you may simply want to upgrade your skills, get another qualification or attend a fun course! The clinics will be held at Sail Solomons and conducted by Instructor Evaluator Andy Batchelor of Kinetic Sailing.
