S/V Kinetic

After you’ve experienced bareboat cruising or flotillas, coastal passagemaking and night sailing is the next natural step in your sailing continuum.  Join Kinetic Sailing for a 7 day coastal cruising and passagemaking course from Buzzards Bay, MA onboard the Outbound 46 Kinetic.

Instruction includes advanced sail theory and trim, weather systems and forecasting, sail inventory, advanced coastal navigation, heavy weather preparation and skills, night sailing, watchstanding, emergency procedures, systems and engineering, underway meal prep and much more. ASA 106 Advanced Coastal Cruising (Coastal Passagemaking) certification is available to qualified candidates.

Your $3500 fee includes onboard meals and beverages, ships operating costs and port fees. Modest ASA certification materials & fees are additional. We have just two guests aboard at a time, so you’ll enjoy a shared double cabin and receive personalized attention from two instructors.
